Punxsutawney is home to many vibrant businesses that play an important role in the overall vitality of the Community by providing jobs, supporting civic and social causes, and significantly contributing to the local tax base.
To acknowledge the importance of these businesses and to recognize the owners’ hard work, accomplishments, and dedication to their Community, the Chamber of Commerce annually selects a local business to receive the Business of the Year Award.
Nominees will be sought from Chamber members based on the criteria described in this document. Nomination forms must be received at the Chamber by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
The winner will be selected by a committee comprised of Chamber Directors
The award will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Award Event on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the Punxsutawney Country Club. The recipient will also receive free Chamber Annual Membership.
