Punxsutawney is home to many vibrant businesses that play an important role in the overall vitality of the Community by providing jobs, supporting civic and social causes, and significantly contributing to the local tax base. To acknowledge the importance of these businesses and to recognize the owners’ hard work, accomplishments, and dedication to their Community, the Chamber of Commerce annually selects a local business to receive the Business of the Year Award.
Nominees will be sought from Chamber members based on the criteria describe in this document and nominee forms must be received at the Chamber by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019. The winner will be selected by a committee comprised of Chamber Board Directors and past Award recipients.
The award will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Luncheon on October 24, 2019 at the F. O. Eagles #1231.
The recipient will also receive a free 2020 Chamber Membership.
